Creating the video

The following print screens show the creation of the video still in progress.

This slide is supposed to represent a commercial showing what's coming up next ideally on TV or the Internet

This is the opening title of the video showing the band name and members, the show is called "behind the scenes"

The scenes then fades to the interview in a small room at this point the underlying music is building beneath the speech

The scenes will then criss cross between interview and band scenes to show the band in action

Creating the promotional video
The video I'm creating encompasses an interview with two of the band members, Dan Hughes and Harley Battley. The interview will try to be humorous ironically as the band members will be deadly serious yet what they say will be less than serious.
This will also be intertwined with video footage of them performing one of the songs from their new album, this will be done in a typical studio environment with maybe some cheesy 80's rock style flourishes for example the solo from November rain by Guns and roses is set on a huge hill with the wind blowing through his hair. Ill try and add some of these simply to add flair and make it a little different from the standard music video. 

Band Names: The song that i've chosen to use is "As i Am" by Dream Theater. Its a progressive metal song and as such the band name wont be something like "One direction". It will need to encompass the heavier more brutal side of music but also the complex polyrhythmic divisions of progressive musicianship. This in mind I've come up with three suitable names for the band.

The brief i've chosen is a promotional package for the release of an album.
I shall also be creating a digipak for the albums release and a magazine advertisement also.
